Private Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid insurance have now approved Telemedicine for physical/occupational therapy during the COVID–19 pandemic. This will allow you to interact with your therapist one–on–one through a video conference (which we will help you set up) from the comfort of your own home. By watching you perform your exercises, we will be able to make suggestions and progress your exercises just like we would do if you were doing them in the clinic. We will also be able to answer any questions you may have. If you do not feel comfortable or are unable to attend therapy in person at our clinics, this may be the choice for you. New patients are also covered by this service. Feel free to contact us for further information.
If you cannot get in to see your doctor, do not forget you can still attend therapy for 45 days per year without a doctor’s referral through most insurance plans. Medicare, however, still requires a physician referral.
